Hillside Public School is a culturally diverse JK-8 school located at the corner of Westmount Rd. and Chopin Dr. in the Victoria Hills neighborhood. Our student population is approximately 320 students and we have close to 40 staff members.
We are an inclusive learning community that celebrates the gifts of our members and support each other in growing to become our best selves.

We have 3 Kindergarten classes each of which are a JK/SK blend. We have the Before and After School Childcare program operating in our school for students in grades JK to 6.
Hillside has a fairly small school boundary which enables all of our students to walk to school. There is a crossing guard stationed at the corner of Westmount and Chopin, and also at the corner of Chopin Dr. and Hazelglen Dr. to assist students in travelling to school safely.
The majority of our grade 8 students will graduate to KCI for high school. Some students are accepted into magnet programs at Cameron Heights (IB program) or Forest Heights (ESL program).
