The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) Education Centre and school buildings will join other Ontario government establishments in flying the Canadian flag at half-mast on February 14, 2023, for the state funeral of the late Hazel McCallion, Mayor of Mississauga from 1978-2014. Hazel McCallion passed away on January 29, 2023.
