Movember Celebration

ARK staff and students celebrated the end of our Movember campaign with a fun and messy assembly. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Movember efforts, as we raised $220.00 to donate to cancer research. Also, thank you to our staff members who grew mustaches and took a “pie in the face”!

Avgen Gift Card Fundraiser

Order forms for Gift Cards through Avgen will be sent home with students on Monday, November 25. Our fundraising campaign will run from November 25 until Friday, December 6/13. Remembrance Day Assembly

Parents are invited to attend our special Remembrance Day Assembly on Monday, November 11, 2013. The assembly will begin at 11:20am, directly after our first Nutrition Break. A number of students will be participating in the assembly by sharing poems, songs and stories.
Grade 8 Parent Information Evenings

Parents or our grade 8 students are encouraged to check out our Grade 7 and 8 page for information on the upcoming Grade 8 Parent Information sessions being held at WRDSB Secondary Schools. The sessions will focus on the student transition process from grae 8 to 9 (e.g: course selection process, in-school supports, extra-curricular activities).
